Cargo or stowage plan is the dimensioning of the cargo distribution on board a vessel, making its technical and dimensional constants compatible with the characteristics (weight and dimensions) of the cargo to be shipped, also considering the facilities and restrictions in the ports of call.

Usually translated into a graphic representation on paper of the cargo distribution on board, inside or outside the holds, previously calculated, to be delivered to port operators.
